I just wanted to add this post too...this is a picture of the quilt that some ladies at our church put together for the 150th Anniversary. My mother-in-law was a part of that group. You can't see them, but on the sides of the quilt in the yellowish part, there is a last name on each little square in yellow thread. The last names are those of the member households of the church. It's a lot more beautiful in person.
