7 Years

7 years ago today, June 16, 2001, Lincoln and I were married. It all started with a 6 month long courtship and then a 7 month engagement...we dated, got engaged and got married all within 13 months. Guess we didn't want to waste time thinking about it. It's crazy that it's been that long. It doesn't seem like it, but we've been through a lot since then. We got married and then moved to Kansas a couple months later. We helped his parents start up a new farm down there and then had Luke. 22 months later we had Ashlyn and then moved back to MN shortly after that in 2004. Now we're here and had Chloe 3 years later. We've lived in a few different houses in 7 years and we've grown. It was a tougher adjustment for me than I thought it would be...being from the city and all. :) I know maybe 7 isn't a very significant number to some, but every new year of marriage is significant to me...with all the work one has to put in to make a marriage work...it's very significant.

These pictures didn't turn out the best...I had to scan them from our album. They didn't do a lot of that digital stuff 7 years ago like they do now. I can't believe that 7 years ago technology wasn't where it is now...it hasn't been that long. :)
