Sick of being sick yet??

Well, that shoe dropped yesterday afternoon. Hit me right in the forehead. I knew that something was wrong as soon as she passed up lunch and wanted to lay down. Ashlyn slept for 3 hours. By 5 pm she was tossing cookies and had a fever. 'Here we go,' I thought. She did it a couple more times and fell asleep. Today we're good, I think. She's eating, running around and not quite as warm. I am just thankful that everyone is through it now before Monster Jam tomorrow. However, with our luck, Lincoln will get it tonight or tomorrow. It's his weekend off at the farm so why not?

Ashlyn and I got up at 2:30 am and came down stairs to watch a video because she was too restless and I was too worried about having to wash numerous sets of sheets if she got sick. Well, ok...she walked down the stairs, I fell. Yep, pregnant clutz. I hit the middle step with my bare foot, slipped and slid the rest of the way down on my butt (more like tale bone) all the while everything I was carrying flew everywhere...puke bucket, thermometer, bottle of water, cell phone (it's my alarm clock)....everything. I hurt a little now. I'm almost 30 and I fell down some stairs. No alcohol in me to even make it a good story. :)

Lincoln got a call from the farm about 5 minutes after that and went to work. He's been there since 3 am along with his dad. So tonight our kids will be bouncing off walls and we'll be fighting to stay awake to keep them occupied. I can't imagine what it'll be like to do this with 3 kids. Wow, I'm going to be busy.

Well, as I have been saying, tomorrow is a huge day for Luke...it's time for...
